Highland Games Demonstrations and Family Fun Day at Peaceful Side Social

Join us on April 27th from 12-4pm for a Family Fun Day featuring Scottish Festival Athletes from the annual Highland Games Festival in Townsend! We will congregate in the Beer Garden to watch the games go down as a bagpiper plays sounds and hymns from the faraway land. Giveaways will take place every hour for chances to win swag and tickets to the annual festival on May 18th.
This family friendly event will include demonstrations of the popular games traditionally played at the Highland Games in Scotland such as stone throw, caber toss, and so many more!
Kids can show their strength and participate in mini versions of the games alongside the athletes! These games will take place between each athlete demonstration, or about every 30 minutes. Parents must sign a waiver at the designated tent.
Peaceful Side Brewery’s Tennessee Highlands Stout will be the main beer of the day and will be on tap in the Beer Garden!
